Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Sum Joy is intentionally simple: no accounts, no ad trackers, no cookies set by us. Here's exactly what happens with your information — plainly stated.
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and use it for one thing: telling you when the shelves open (plus your free starter template and occasional launch notes). Sending is handled by our email provider, Resend. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you — no hoops.
Purchases
When products go on sale, checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. They process your order, payment details, and receipt under their privacy policy — we receive your order details (like your email and what you bought) so we can deliver your files and help with support, but we never see your card number.
What we don't do
- No analytics or advertising trackers. We don't run analytics scripts, ad pixels, or social-media trackers, and we don't set cookies.
- No selling or sharing. Your email is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
Standard server logs
Like nearly every website, our web server keeps basic technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. They're kept only for routine operations and aren't used to profile visitors.
Fonts
Pages load the Lora and Hanken Grotesk typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches those files, Google receives the standard technical details of the request (such as your IP address and browser type), described in Google's privacy policy.
If you email us
Writing to [email protected] shares your address and whatever you include; we use it only to reply and manage the conversation.
About Tally. Sum Joy's public face, Tally Booker, is an openly-AI persona — disclosed everywhere she appears. Questions welcome; transparency is the point.
Children
This site is for business owners and isn't directed to children under 13; we knowingly collect no information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Email [email protected] and we'll help — usually that just means removing you from the waitlist.
Changes
If our practices change, this page updates first and the date above changes with it.
